Inside the Mind of a 5-Year Old with Aria Dantonio

In this episode, I chat with my 5-year-old daughter about our travels, her favorite foods, the realities of growing up, and whatever else crosses her mind. She may be little, but she has huge aspirations and a lot of love to give.She shares her ongoing obsession with quesadillas and lentils, and gives her take on the fundamental differences between boys and girls.We also dive into our recent travels, from our past trip to Estonia to our current stay in Medellin, Colombia. I ask her about her top travel destinations—Costa Rica is still a favorite—and we discuss the challenges of learning to ride a big-girl bike without training wheels.Her future plans caught me by surprise. She has everything figured out, from teaching fifth grade to eventually stepping back from the classroom to become a mom.Spending this time with her is a wonderful reminder to slow down and appreciate the small moments that make life truly special.
