Episode Description from the Publisher

🍂 A Fall Reset for Your Mind, Marriage & Home What if your fall reset isn’t about becoming a completely different woman? What if it’s about returning—returning to God, returning to your home, returning to your marriage, and returning to the ordinary life you’re already living? In this episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re slowing down and looking at fall through a different lens: the rhythms God built into creation and what they can teach us about the rhythms of our own lives. As the earth moves toward the September equinox and the days begin to shorten, creation doesn’t panic. The trees don’t scramble to keep producing. The garden doesn’t worry that summer is ending. Creation simply moves into the next season. And maybe we can learn to do the same. We’ll talk about the science and rhythm of fall, the biblical idea of seasons, harvest, letting go, rest, and what it means to actually be present in the life God has given you. For Christian newlywed women especially, we’ll bring this idea into your marriage and homemaking—because your husband isn’t a project, your home doesn’t have to be Pinterest-perfect, and your marriage doesn’t have to become perfect before you’re allowed to enjoy it. Inside this episode, you’ll also be guided through a simple Fall Reset Journal Exercise using four words: 🍂 RECEIVE — What is God giving you right now that you’ve been too distracted to receive? 🍂 GATHER — What has grown in your life that you want to intentionally preserve? 🍂 RELEASE — What are you ready to stop carrying into this next season? 🍂 REST — Where are you being invited to stop striving and trust God? We’ll also talk about how to intentionally notice your husband, create a home that feels like home rather than another source of pressure, and practice gratitude for the ordinary moments you might otherwise rush past. And before you go, I’m giving you a little challenge: Instead of creating a giant fall bucket list, create a Fall Rule of Life. This fall, choose to notice what is already good, gather what God has grown, release what you don’t need to carry, and rest without guilt. Because you don’t need to wait for your life to look different before you start enjoying it. This is the day the Lord has made. So grab your coffee, light your favorite fall candle, find your journal, and settle in. It’s time for a fall reset—not to become a new woman, but to return to the rhythm God has already given you. 🍁 In this episode: The science behind the changing seasons God’s design for fall and the rhythm of creation What fall can teach us about our own seasons of life The spiritual meaning of harvest and recognizing what has grown A fall marriage reset for Christian wives Why your husband is not a project Creating a home that feels like home instead of chasing perfection The Receive, Gather, Release & Rest journaling exercise How to practice being present in your ordinary life A simple 5-minute grounding exercise Creating a Fall Rule of Life Learning to rest without guilt Finding something lovely in an ordinary day Returning to God, your home, your marriage, and the present moment 🍂 Lovely Rhythms Call: Create lasting rhythms that work with your mind, body, menstrual cycle, and love languages. 📖 Lovely Home Planner: A grace-filled, undated planner created specifically for Christian homemakers who want rhythms that are founded on grace instead of guilt.   TELL ME YOUR LOVELY THING OF THE WEEK!!   You are lovely, and so is your home. 🤎
