POST CAST: Wild Season Ends in Overtime with 3 Goal Lead Blown in Game 5

The Minnesota Wild season came to an end in Game 5 against the Colorado Avalanche as they fell 4-3 in Overtime and lost their second round series 4-1. The Wild became the first team in NHL History to lose a 3-0 first period lead and manage 10 or fewer shots the rest of the game. The Wild opened the scoring with a goal from Marcus Johansson 38 seconds into the game, and Nick Foligno added 2 first period goals to make it 3-0 after 1. But the Avs scored once in the 2nd and twice in the 3rd to force the game into Overtime, and got the overtime winner from Brett Kulak to end the series. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 30 of 34 shots in net for the Wild, and was by far one of the best players in the series.
