RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays SWEEP THE YANKEES to go to the ALCS

The Rays cap off the sweep of the Yankees, winning 4-3. This was the type of game that makes postseason baseball so great. The Rays got the scoring started in the 3rd on a RBI single by Jonathan Aranda to make it 1-0. The Yankees got that run back right away in the bottom of the 3rd inning to make it 1-1. The Rays re took the lead on a solo homer by Ryan Vilade in the 4th gave the Rays a 2-1 lead. The Yankees once again responded in the bottom of the 4th with a RBI double to make it 2-2. The biggest swing of the game came off the bat of Victor Mesa Jr. He belted a 2 run homer in the 6th to make it 4-2. The Yankees got a run back during a wild sequence that included a fan interference that made it 4-3. But the Rays bullpen was absolutly fantastic and shut the Yankees down the last 3 innings to secure the win. The Rays head to the ALCS to face either the White Sox or the Guardians.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!AmazonThis Back To School Season, spend less on your kids, with Amazon.
