RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays comeback FALLS SHORT vs the Los Angeles Angels

The Rays drop the series opener to the Angels 4-3. The Angels jumped all over the Rays early. They put up 2 runs in the 1st inning and immediately made the game 2-0. In the 3rd inning the Angels would put 2 more runs up to make the game 4-0. The Rays answered back in the 5th inning. They had all the makings of a big inning with the bases loaded and 0 outs. They would cash in on a Jonathan Aranda 2 RBI single to make it 4-2. The Rays would get a run back in the 9th to make it 4-3 and have the bases loaded with 2 outs to try and tie the game. But Cedric Mullins struck out to end the game. Shane McClahanan started for the Rays and struggled for the first time in a while. He only went 4 IP giving up 8 hits and 4 runs. He still managed to strike out 7 batters in the loss.
