IMPACT: How Injury to Anthony Black ALTERED Orlando Magic's Playoff Destiny

The Orlando Magic faced many major injuries throughout their season. The injury to Franz Wagner was the biggest impactor throughout the season and even in the Playoffs, as he missed the last three games of the series against the Detroit Pistons. The forgotten absence at the end of the season and leading into the Playoffs was Anthony Black, who was recovering from a strained abdominal in the last month of the season. The recovery and Black's late return had him a step behind in the Playoffs. The team was missing one of its key pieces. That is another reason for optimism and that better health will help this team see its full potential. As should the addition of Nikola Vucevic to those bench lineups. Vucevic should boost the scoring for a bench that ranked near the bottom in scoring the past two seasons.
