Lane Kiffin Chose the WRONG QB? Kenny Minchey Has Kentucky Rolling

Kentucky football wanted Sam Leavitt in the transfer portal before ultimately landing Kenny Minchey - and five games into the season, the Wildcats should have zero regrets. Now Leavitt and LSU come to Lexington for a huge SEC matchup, giving Kentucky a chance to prove Minchey was exactly the quarterback Will Stein needed. On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe breaks down the Kenny Minchey vs. Sam Leavitt storyline ahead of Kentucky football's matchup with LSU. Kentucky originally pursued Leavitt in the transfer portal, but after missing on him, the Wildcats flipped Minchey - who has responded with efficient, turnover-free quarterback play and a breakout performance in Kentucky's comeback win over South Carolina. Then, Lance explains why Kentucky has a legitimate chance to upset LSU at Kroger Field. The Wildcats are 4-1, have already won two SEC road games, and now get a top-10 opponent at home. Lance looks at Kentucky's strengths, the biggest concerns against LSU, and why stopping Sam Leavitt's mobility will be one of the keys to the game. Finally, Lance previews Kentucky basketball's Pro Day and the biggest things to watch, including Alex Wilkins' shooting, Malachi Moreno's offseason development, Ousmane N'Diaye's upside, the battle at power forward, and the overall health of Mark Pope's roster.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi.
