GIANTS POSTCAST: WORST DAY OF 2026 SEASON SO FAR as Giants Get Swept in Philadelphia

The San Francisco Giants put together their most frustrating day of baseball in the 2026 season to date as they dropped both games in today's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies despite leading in the 9th inning in both games. Adrian Houser started off the second game of the doubleheader by giving up back-to-back home runs to Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber, but the San Francisco Giants were able to rally back and even take the lead in the top of the ninth inning. After Keaton Winn couldn't close it down, surrendering the tying run in the bottom of the inning, the San Francisco Giants had a golden opportunity to score the go-ahead run on a Heliot Ramos leadoff single, but third base coach Héctor Borg inexplicably held Drew Gilbert at third base, and he was unable to score in the inning.
