SQUAD: BYU, Arizona State Experts Takes SERIOUS HEAT That You MUST HEAR This Week...

No. 10 BYU’s hard-fought 17-10 victory over TCU last week was far from a polished offensive showcase, highlighting just how much the Cougars had to grind to overcome a sluggish performance.Playing without star workhorse running back LJ Martin, Kalani Sitake’s offense struggled significantly to find any kind of rhythm against a hostile Fort Worth front. The unit sputtered in sustained drives, managing just 216 total yards and getting bogged down by stagnant execution as they searched for a spark in the backfield. Quarterback Bear Bachmeier took a beating behind the line of scrimmage, absorbing four sacks while the passing game stalled out entirely, generating a meager 62 yards through the air. With the ground game forced to grind out a pedestrian 3.5 yards per carry, the offense continually shot itself in the foot with stalled possessions and missed opportunities on third down.Ultimately, it wasn't style points that kept BYU undefeated; it was a desperate defensive bailout. While the offensive unit limped through the trenches, the defense had to pitch a near-shutout to cover up for the afternoon's lack of execution. It was a gritty, stress-inducing escape rather than a statement win—proving that while the Cougars found a way to survive the bloodbath, their offensive machinery has plenty of fixes to make before facing the next tier of the Big 12 gauntlet.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi.
