We actually get to hear the garden (specifically the horseradish plant) come to life thanks to Laura Feibelman and a little assist from the Plant Wave on episode 23 of Live from the Avant Garden! Laura brings along a cool little device that turns the electrical signals generated by living plant matter into jammable synthesized sounds scapes which she uses as an improvisational backdrop. Host V.J. Hyde learns about Laura's other passion that also happens to be plant-related: gardening! We also hear about Laura's life as a multi-instrumentalist gigging musician, music teacher and the musical journey that has taken her around the world and back again!Music starts at 34:32Find more of Laura's musical projects, her next show and even book a voice, keyboard and/or woodwind lesson on Instagram.
