Starting his career as a child, he appeared in early television roles including The Twilight Zone and The X-Files, before breaking through with standout performances in films such as Boiler Room, Gone in 60 Seconds and Saving Private Ryan. He's also instantly recognisable as Phoebe's eccentric brother Frank Jr. in Friends, the enigmatic conman at the heart of Sneaky Pete, and for his brilliantly bizarre dance in Ted. But his career goes far beyond those iconic roles. In this episode, we talk about working with James Cameron on the Avatar films, what keeps Giovanni so passionate about filmmaking after decades in the industry, and his decision to step behind the camera for his latest film, the breathtaking Strange Darling.
