Happy (a little late) Thanksgiving!! We are so thankful for all of you and we hope you had a restful holiday with loved ones!! Also please let us know your three celebrities that you're inviting to Thanksgiving!
Just some life updates here! Shana opens up about something recent and Erin recalls highlights from her trip to NYC. We also end with a cliffhanger! (sorry not sorry) But stay tuned for the next episode! Love you guys, ttyl!
We are so thankful to be back with our third episode! Hurricane Helene unexpectedly hit Erin's city and caused major destruction. With power and internet now restored, Erin shares the details of the aftermath of this storm in a city that was not prepared for this storm's power. Though we like to remain lighthearted, we hope this episode can provide insight into many of the ways these natural disasters impact communities and individuals. While there are many places making their recovery, some places are still in major need of resources. If you are able and would like to donate, we will provide donation information below. Please join us in praying for all impacted by these recent storms. The best way to help Western North Carolina recover is with a monetary donation. North Carolina has established the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund which is managed by United Way of North Carolina. Donations can be made at www.nc.gov/donate and are being used to provide grants to nonprofits working directly in impacted communities. Other reputable charities are also collecting money to help with Helene relief, including North Carolina Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (www.ncvoad.org/members). VOADS are vetted disaster relief nonprofit organizations that work in coordination with state and federal agencies to deliver supplies and services to North Carolinians in need. You can get tips on giving to charities safely and avoiding charity scams from the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office at ncdoj.gov/charity. Report scams at 1-877-5-NO-SCAM or ncdoj.gov.
For this yap session, Erin and Shana had A LOT to catch up on!! Don’t miss their weekly update and discussion of how God often answers us: yes, no, or wait. P.S. sorry for the delay in episode 2, but thank y’all for all of the support!! More details on Hurricane Helene and ways you can support to come 🤍
