It's bringing up the question: can white authors accurately write black stories? Segment 2: Blackoween 2023 - Can you believe the holiday season is already here? It feels like the year just started! To kick off Halloween season, I am picking spooky books written by black authors. Segment 3: A short story written by Lauren Roach aka The Booky Babe called "Welcome to the Health Department" This was an old submission from a writing contest. Didn't win but I placed third!
