Donald Trump was loudly booed by fans at Madison Square Garden when his face appeared on the arena’s Jumbotron. He attended Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, making him the first sitting U.S. president to ever attend an NBA Finals game. This snarled traffic and prevented thousands of people from watching the game at the watch parties which were cancelled.
