Ep. 4 : Elul; come as you are.

I sat down with Ora Schwartz amid the hecticness of our kids’ back-to-school schedules to explore what Elul means to us, and how we find inspiration in this month, if we do at all, through the words that keep coming up for me: Come as you are. Can we allow Hashem to seep more deeply into the lives we’re already living? Can we cultivate a real friendship with Hashem and invite His presence into all the nooks and crannies: spiritually, emotionally, and in the very real, practical moments of our lives… including our kids coming in and out of the Zoom.
