Episode Description from the Publisher

The biggest buzz at the London Marathon this year wasn’t just the racing, it was around Nomio. It’s a performance shot used by athletes like Cole Hocker and Conner Mantz. Nomio is used before their key sessions and races, whether it’s breaking the American Marathon record or getting WC gold in Tokyo. If you want to check it out yourself, it’s at drinknomio.com and if you’re in Australia or New Zealand, you can find it at Aid Station, and over at The Running Company. Alfie Manthorpe is this weekend’s guest interview, thanks to Nomio. Aflie made his marathon debut just last weekend at the London Marathon and ran 2.11. He is an internet sensation and someone on the rise. He also holds PBs of 13.39 over 5km, 27.38 over 10km and 61:26 over the half-marathon. In this chat, he reflects on his London Marathon performance, reacts to being in the same race as the first 1.59 marathon, and unpacks his training leading up to the race, and covers a range of distance running topics.  Patreon Link: https://www.patreon.com/insiderunningpodcast Opening and Closing Music is Undercover of my Skin by Benny Walker. www.bennywalkermusic.com Join the conversation at: https://www.facebook.com/insiderunningpodcast/
