Come Follow Me | 1 Samuel 8-10; 13; 15-16

We examine Israel's demand for a king, despite the Lord being their true King, and the calling and anointing of Saul as Israel's first king. We also look at Saul's early reign, his failure to fully obey God's commandments, and the consequences of choosing his own will over the Lord's. Finally, we follow the prophet Samuel as he is sent to Bethlehem to anoint a young shepherd named David, the man whom God had chosen to lead His people. These chapters teach powerful lessons about faith, obedience, humility, and the importance of having a heart that follows God.
