Humility. We submit to God's will and not our own.But here is the thing, before your children can submit to God's will they have to know him. Before they can trust him they have to have met him. And that starts with you opening your Bible with them every single day.In this episode I am talking about what humility actually looks like in a real home with real kids. We talk about scripture memory, catechism, family Bible time, and what it looks like to weave God's character into the ordinary rhythms of your day — even on the hard days when your husband has been working 70 hours a week for five months and you are doing it mostly alone.I also want to talk about balance. Because I see two ditches on this road and both of them are dangerous. The legalistic home that made Jesus all wrath and no grace. And the gentle parenting home that made Jesus all grace and no wrath. Neither one is the full picture. And your children need the full picture.We talk about how to teach your children the sovereignty of God in a way that builds trust not fear.
