It’s Thanksgiving all over again, and Jonathan Fallen is taking us back to one of the wildest holiday episodes in Hoodcast AF history! Join Fallen as he revisits Episode 250, “Thanks for Getting Drunk,” featuring Cobra Dad, Chisel, and The Fallen getting together to discuss Thanksgiving, family relationships, holiday traditions, and all the other nonsense that somehow makes its way into a Hoodcast conversation. But as the drinks keep flowing, things get progressively more ridiculous. Cobra and Fallen get drunker, the conversations get louder, and the whole show starts going off the rails. There’s beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, hog and mog, with absolutely nobody able to identify where the hell that saying comes from. We know it’s Spaceballs, but apparently nobody’s putting two and two together! Then things take an even stranger turn when the show suddenly transforms into an endless series of movie trailers and action-packed promos. Chisel, who apparently has never seen a damn movie in his life, becomes the inspiration for Fallen and Cobra to riff on every movie imaginable. Everything is an explosion! Everything is a blockbuster! And just when you think the movie promo madness is finally over, it comes right back. Meanwhile, Action Figure News gets interrupted so many times that it’s practically a miracle anything gets discussed. And just when you think you’ve heard it all, Vanilla Ice enters the conversation thanks to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Suddenly, we’re debating how much money Vanilla Ice actually makes these days, and Cobra’s understanding of celebrity wealth gets put on trial. A discussion about seven-figure incomes turns into a full-blown argument about being poor, paying bills, maintaining a lifestyle, and why playing state fairs isn’t necessarily the glamorous retirement plan Cobra thinks it is. Fallen attempts to explain economics while simultaneously calling Cobra poor, then admits he’s poor himself. It’s a whole damn debacle!Of course, Fallen also delivers his Thanksgiving algorithms, somehow finding a way to equate every argument, family interaction, and ridiculous situation to the Thanksgiving experience. It’s a Thanksgiving feast of drunken antics, movie promo madness, questionable financial advice, interrupted toy news, and classic Cobra Dad foolishness. This is Hoodcast AF at its hoodest, and a retrospective worth revisiting. Thanks for Getting Drunk!
Hoodcast AF Episode 315 – Dead Media and Rambo StuffThe future is physical, and the Hood is ready to cash in! Tommy Toys joins The Fallen and Chizzle for another episode of Hoodcast AF, where the guys get into the world of dead media and why DVDs, movies, video games, and other physical formats might be making a massive comeback. Sure, the resurgence is already happening, but the boys believe we’re heading toward an absolute boom, with a collecting peak somewhere on the horizon. So start digging through those old collections, dust off those DVDs, and get your physical media before everybody else figures out what they’ve been missing!Meanwhile, Tommy Toys has apparently become a TikTok sensation thanks to his adventures as a Needoh toy store hunter. Waiting in lines, deploying ghost chairs, and whatever other questionable activities he’s getting himself into. But we’re saving the full story for the Patreon aftershow, including the mysterious woman filming Tommy while he’s apparently pirouetting in line. What the hell is this guy doing? And why is somebody filming it? You’ll have to join the aftershow to find out. There’s also plenty of collectible news, Pokémon, McDonald’s, and all sorts of other nonsense to dig through. The guys get into Chizzle’s musical tastes, which he proudly identifies as Hick Hop — a beautiful marriage of country music and rap. Naturally, The Fallen takes things a step further by reworking some of the show’s familiar segment stingers, including the news, with Hick Hop-inspired beats and other musical atrocities.Dead media, toy hunting, Hick Hop, collectible news, and Rambo stuff. Just another day at the office for Hoodcast AF. You know the drill. Tune in!
Hoodcast AF – Retrospective: Episode 121 – “Ouija Phone”We’re taking a trip back into the Hoodcast AF archives for a look at one of the strangest Halloween specials ever recorded: Episode 121, “Ouija Phone.”In this retrospective, Fallen revisits the madness as he listens along and provides commentary on an episode where the gang attempts to contact the dead using a telephone somehow connected to a Ouija board. Because apparently a regular phone call just wasn’t creepy enough. And who makes an appearance? None other than the legendary Sylvia Browne, who shows up to talk about all sorts of nonsense, including Mike TV’s deceased grandparents and a particularly questionable family connection involving his grandfather’s World War II service, alleged hoarding of Jewish gold, and a whole lot of other bizarre shenanigans. It’s ghosts, questionable psychic abilities, family secrets, and the kind of supernatural nonsense that could only come from the Hoodcast archives. So dust off that spirit board, pick up the haunted telephone, and join Fallen as he revisits an old Halloween classic. The dead may have moved on, but apparently they still have plenty to say.
Join The Fallen as he listens and remembers episode 275 "Happy Birthday Halloween".
🎃 HOODCAST AF EPISODE 314: THE HALLOWEEN SPECIAL! 👻Fallen promised he would do it, and now the time has come! This Halloween, Hoodcast AF attempts to reach beyond the grave and contact the one, the only, the legendary Cobra Dad on the other side! Will they make contact with their dearly departed friend, or will this whole thing turn into another spectacular Hoodcast disaster? Thankfully, they’ve got some help from the world of the supernatural: Sylvia Browne! Well, she’s dead, too, but that doesn’t stop her from getting involved. Somehow, her soul ends up inhabiting a ventriloquist dummy, and she does such a terrible job communicating with the other side that she eventually just comes back to life to smoke cigarettes, or as she affectionately calls them, ciggies! You can’t make this stuff up!But that’s not all! Hoodcast AF has officially acquired a house band! The Crypt Door has supplied us with a collection of original Halloween songs, packed with spooky sounds, creepy vibes, and plenty of Hoodcast references. These musical maniacs only do Halloween songs, making them the perfect addition to this year’s festivities. Their tunes will be haunting the episode throughout, so keep your ears open!Meanwhile, Chizzle has been making the rounds on the toy show and convention circuit, and he’s got some thoughts about the whole experience. What should you expect from vendors when you’re out hunting for collectibles? What should vendors expect from their customers? What’s reasonable, what’s ridiculous, and who’s asking for too damn much? From the buyer’s perspective to the vendor’s side of the table, Chizzle breaks down the expectations, frustrations, and complaints that come with doing business in the collectible community. We’ve also got the latest collectible news, with plenty of cool stuff from Mezco, Marvel Legends, and more! And because no Hoodcast Halloween would be complete without a little questionable musical entertainment, Fallen debuts a song dedicated to Cobra Dad’s dearly departed dog, Jimbo! If you remember the emotional roller coaster of Cobra’s updates and Jimbo’s passing from our previous compilation episode, you already know the backstory. Now, Jimbo gets his own song, and let’s just say it’s about as heartfelt, ridiculous, and hilarious as you’d expect from this crew. Can Hoodcast AF reach Cobra Dad from beyond the grave? Will Sylvia Browne’s possessed dummy finally deliver a message from the other side? Or will this entire supernatural investigation go straight to hell?Tune in for Hoodcast AF Episode 314, where the spirits are restless, the ciggies are burning, the collectibles are piling up, and the chaos is absolutely supernatural!Happy Halloween, Hoodlums! 🎃💀
Hoodcast AF Bonus Episode: The Mortuary FilesBefore he became a legend of Hoodcast AF, the late, great Cobra Dad had a few stories of his own that sound like they came straight out of a horror movie — except these actually happened… or at least, that’s what he says!In this special bonus episode, Cobra Dad and The Fallen sit down to talk about the time Cobra lived in a mortuary. From stupid, hilarious things he did while living among the dead to unexplained footsteps, creepy encounters, and the time his wife, Cobra Mina, saw a ghost, this episode has it all. Paranormal activity, questionable decisions, and the kind of stories that make you wonder what the hell was going on in that place. It’s ghosts, ghouls, and mortuary madness as Cobra Dad shares his experiences from the other side of the funeral business. A little creepy, a lot ridiculous, and 100% Cobra Dad. Join us for this special piece of Hoodcast AF history as we revisit the stories, laughs, and unforgettable personality of our beloved Cobra Dad. Some places are better left unexplored… but you know Cobra had to find out the hard way!
Hoodcast AF Bonus Episode: The Ballad of JimboSome stories from the Hoodcast AF universe are funny, some are chaotic, and some hit a little closer to home. The Ballad of Jimbo is a collection of clips documenting the final days of Jimbo, Cobra Dad’s beloved dog, as the Hoodcast crew followed along, shared updates, and eventually said goodbye.Hosted by Jonathan Fallon, this bonus episode kicks off with footage from the livestream where everything unfolded, setting the stage for a series of clips from across the Hoodcast AF archives. Just to be clear, this was a companion livestream and video event, not the actual audio podcast episode. The first stop takes us to the A Worthy Addiction YouTube show, featuring Toy Addict 17, Worthy Collector, Pot Dog, Cobra Dad, and Mike TV — or Mike V-Town, or whatever name he’s going by this week. And because nothing in this community is ever completely normal, Worthy Collector’s microphone happens to be hot while he’s apparently taking a bathroom break in his toy room. We’re still not entirely sure what was happening there. From there, we dig into clips from other episodes, including some truly bizarre phone calls from BC Zach, also known as Zachary Evergreen, who apparently has just as many aliases as the rest of this bunch. Zach makes some unforgettable calls, including one where he calls in as Jimbo himself — Cobra’s dearly departed dog — leaving us to hear Cobra’s reaction to this unusual, and admittedly pretty strange, tribute. It’s a hodgepodge of livestream moments, archived conversations, questionable phone calls, and the kind of unpredictable nonsense that only this crew can deliver. But underneath all the chaos is a record of a difficult time for Cobra Dad and the people who were there to share it with him.The Ballad of Jimbo is a look back at Jimbo’s story, the people who came together around it, and the strange, funny, heartfelt moments that became part of Hoodcast AF history. A tribute to Cobra’s four-legged friend, assembled from the clips that captured it all — Hoodcast style.
