L-Chedda is one of the original rappers from Sunnydale, one of San Francisco’s most notorious projects. He saw the rise of hip-hop in the city, as well as the turf wars and the crack epidemic. Cheddar flipped street money to co-found Butt Naked Records and put out groups from his hood like Down N Dirty Hustlas and Ghetto Soldiers. He caught an out-of-state case in 2006 which resulted in a 6-year prison sentence.
