Evil isn't just something we read about in the news. Sometimes, we see it displayed without shame, and we're left wondering how people can be so cruel. But what is evil, where does it come from, and how do we reconcile its existence with a good and sovereign God? In this episode of Her Faith Inspires, we're examining the problem of evil through the lens of Scripture. We'll unpack the argument that God must have created evil, explore the difference between moral evil and the corruption of God's good design, and consider what evil reveals about the human heart. But understanding evil is only part of the conversation. How should Christians respond when we're confronted with hatred, cruelty, and wickedness? Does God call us to ignore it, fear it, or fight back?
