Dr Rubendren Naidoo is an anaesthesiologist and pain specialist with special interests in chronic pain management, medical law, bio ethics and long distance running. He is the founder of the Oxford Pain Clinic and the chair of the National Pain Congress. He is a sensitive, empathic, intuitive and bright voice in an often clinical landscape. This episode will enrich listeners with an understanding of pain science and physiology. We speak to the tools we have to ameliorate pain and the different levers clinicians and therapists can use to ease this difficult journey. Dr Naidoo shares some personal stories, he names the fear that often accompanies medical practitioners to work and he inspires us to challenge how we think, how we work and how we challenge authority.
