She completed the Ayurveda Doctor program from Kerala Ayurveda, based on the BAMS syllabus, with internships in Kerala Ayurvedic hospitals and clinics. She has a double Master's in Biostatistics and Molecular Biology from Rutgers University and JNU. She has published research articles on Ayurveda for Columbia University’s Journal of Public Health, as well as mainstream articles on Alzhiemers’ and Statins when she worked at Mt Sinai hospital and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has presented at NAMA (National Ayurveda Medical Association), Integrative Mental health, Global Ayurveda, Holistic lifestyle Conferences where she has spoken on topics ranging from Autoimmune diseases, chronic health problems, mental health problems, geriatric health and how Ayurveda can help in these problems.
