Extreme El Nino could cost 2 pct of GDP in LatAm, Caribbean: report

A new report says an extreme El Nino event could cause losses equivalent to at least 2 percent of the GDP in Latin America and the Caribbean. It says a high-intensity event could have wide-ranging impacts on energy, agriculture, fisheries and infrastructure.
