The federal government withheld its evidence for seven months, turning it over to Hennepin County only in the days before Todd Blanche's confirmation hearing. Roughly 75 percent of the Minneapolis US Attorney's office resigned during this period, and more than half the prosecutions brought against protesters have since collapsed.
