Have a Nice Life is back! After more than two years, money coach and organization design strategist Hadassah Damien and organizational psychologist and career coach Pippi Kessler return with a new format: live coaching sessions with real people working through real money and career questions — solo parenthood, moving countries, making "enough," funding art, starting small businesses and more. No manifesting. Just real stories, real numbers, and exercises you can try at home.In this episode, Hadassah and Pippi share the themes that cut across the season (like why people shy away from taking career moves they say they want, how inflation is scrambling our mental math, Robin Hood business planning, and more). You'll also hear the backstory of how HANL came to be (hint: it's a perfect example of our recommendation to create chaos) and how we were both changed by releasing season 1. In earlier episodes of Have a Nice Life, Pippi and Hadassah talked about running experiments on your ideas and testing prototypes to get more information to help you make decisions. There’s so much to say about this, and in this bonus episode, we go into more detail on exactly what we mean by a career change experiment, its specific question and prototype components, and how to define and run an experiment to get more information about what you might do in your next career move. There’s lots of examples given, which apply to specific ideas you might be testing, or exploration you may need to do.Hosted by Hadassah Damien, a money coach and business strategist, and Pippi Kessler, a career coach and organizational psychologist. When we’re about to make a decision, it can feel high stakes. How do you REALLY know what direction to take - and what if you want to change later? What if your “knowing” or “deciding” buttons are frayed from trauma or operating in survival mode? In our last few episodes we’ve talked about how to reduce the risk of getting it wrong with criteria and prototyping, so today we talk about how to use that information, how to know you know, and what it means to give yourself permission to try a new thing. It’s your nice life to go after, after all. And, of course, almost no decision in life is your final one.Have a Nice Life is hosted by Hadassah Damien, a money coach and business strategist, and Pippi Kessler, a career coach and organizational psychologist. Even when you have a sense of what you want, it’s reasonable that gathering other kinds of information can be wise, before committing to a specific direction. Pilots and prototypes are kinds of experiments that help you try on or try out a way of living before you fully commit, and are excellent ways to learn things in your body that you can’t learn from imagination or research. We love them! In this episode of Have a Nice Live, Pippi and Hadassah tell stories of our own and some clients’ prototyping that gave us such important information. You’ll learn how to think about these experiments, and how to make sure you learn from them.Have a Nice Life is hosted by Hadassah Damien, a money coach and business strategist, and Pippi Kessler, a career coach and organizational psychologist.
