Satan is a liar, and he will use the lust of the flesh, pride, and deception to pull us away from God’s will. Sometimes the wisest answer to a question we cannot answer is simply to remain silent rather than pretend we know everything. Humility means being willing to admit, “I don’t know,” “I was wrong,” or “I need God.” We are not finished products—God is still working in us. Instead of looking around at everyone else’s faults, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to examine our own hearts.
