Earlier today it was officially announced that Macklin Celebrini signed a 5 year, $94 million extension with the San Jose Sharks. The 2024 1st overall pick in the NHL Draft has already taken a massive step in his young NHL career. He posted 45 goals and 115 points, and led the Sharks to just four points shy of a playoff spot in his impressive campaign. Is this a good number to sign the young, talented forward? Or will it cause cap issues for San Jose in the future?   The Nashville Predators have been heavy on the trade block this summer after making a major front office switch in hiring Chris MacFarland as the GM and President of Hockey Ops.
