Dershowitz Sounds Alarm Over FBI Surveillance of Trump’s Family and Campaign

- Alan Dershowitz says the tracking of Melania Trump, Barron Trump and campaign officials raises serious questions about whether the FBI improperly targeted a political opponent. - Dershowitz argues surveillance involving Trump campaign chair Susie Wiles and the president’s minor son crosses a dangerous line and deserves tighter congressional and Justice Department oversight. - He says Merrick Garland was “over his head” as attorney general and failed to exercise sufficient control over politically sensitive investigations. - Dershowitz calls for Garland to testify and produce documents explaining why Trump’s family and campaign were monitored before the Mar-a-Lago search. - The discussion also raises press-freedom concerns after a reporter’s communications reportedly appear among records swept into the investigation.
