Glen and Twig head up to Deacon's Lodge at Breezy Point Resort in Breezy Point, MN for a round at one of Twig's favorite courses. They're joined by JP (of course) and for the first time - Charlie Terwilliger. They recount their morning round up there on Deacon's last day of the 2026 season! 10/2/26 - StoneRidge Golf Club
Glen and Twig talk find it easy to find all of the positives in one of the state's top public tracks - StoneRidge. This Stillwater gem features a fantastic variety of quality holes...one of the best barns in the state...and some of the purest greens around! At the last minute the Loons' special guest canceled but due to the quality of the course, we knew it was still "pod-worthy".The day's foursome featured JP (shocker), Glen, Twig, and last-minute addition Bertie. If you're going out to hit StoneRidge, or if you just played it - tune in to get the Golf Loons' takes and favorites. Special nod to starter Charlie...he's in our unofficial top 5 starters in the state!

9/14/26 - Troy Burne - Guest Bubba Startz - The Scene Projects
The Golf Loons travel over the border and hit one of Wisconsin's top public courses - Troy Burne in Hudson. Had a phenomenal day with perfect, crisp weather...terrific course conditions...and energy galore from The Scene Project's - Bubba Startz!We dig into why you should take a day to go and play Troy Burne. 18 solid holes with a few tremendous ones that stand out! We talk about why #11 is one of the Midwest's top par 3's anywhere.The Golf Loons are of course joined by their usual 4th - JP of YellowBird Coffee. Things are wrapped up with an Emergency 9 you don't want to miss where Glen and Bubba get into everywhere Bubba is content-wise, his story with music, and ends with a few tremendous tips of some new musical artists you have to sample!

8/31/26 - Pioneer Creek - Guest Matt Majka - CEO of MN Wild
Glen and Twig recount a glorious afternoon at Pioneer Creek. Sunny...firm turf...smooth greens...special guest Matt Majka...and of course the 4th was JP from YellowBird Coffee! This sneaky-good, underrated track west of the Twin Cities is known for it's good conditioning, fun variety of holes, and GREAT GREENS! Matt shares his expertise on leadership, why Windsong Farm means a lot to him and his family, and some tremendous stories from his tenure at the MN Wild.

9/7/26 - Manitou Ridge - Guest John King - Pulltab Sports
Glen and Twig visit one of the gems of Ramsey County and White Bear Lake - Manitou Ridge. They're joined by special guest, John King, of Pulltab Sports...but you probably know him as the guy behind the "Hockey Hair" videos! Kinger is a regular at Manitou Ridge so it was great to see and play the course with him and his bride Stacey.Manitou Ridge is sneaky hilly, fun to play, has a nice variety of holes and features one of the hardest par 3's in the entire state of MN...hole #10. 8/24/26 - Meadowbrook - Guest Kevin Falness from MN Wild Radio
Glen and Twig head back to the city of Minneapolis and play Meadowbrook Golf Course. The course is underrated and Glen and Twig dive into why it's worth a visit...and also why it's a sentimental favorite of Twig's. The Golf Loons are joined by the MN Wild Radio Network's Kevin Falness who shares why Meadowbrook is special to him (he picked the course for this one!). Kevin's "Emergency 9" interview is filled with great stories from his time with the Wild - from stories interviewing the players to pranking the office staff! Kevin also shares about Usher's Syndrome, his family's connection to it, and how people can get involved in helping to fight this horrible condition. This episode is dedicated to Joseph Hulbert...nobody knows Meadowbrook better!

The Loons tackle one of the metro's top public tracks - The Wilds. Glen and Twig opine about the many positives at The Wilds...including their dream house on the 8th hole! They're joined for the round and "Emergency 9" by Max Smith, Founder of the InSports Foundation. Max (a darn good golfer himself) shares his golf story, how the InSports Foundation got started, and how they recently just helped their 100,000th kid have better access to sports. Amazing stuff!
