The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Seattle Kraken 6-2 in a feisty affair on Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena to sweep their two-game Pacific Northwest road trip.Vegas jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes, with Victor Olofsson opening the scoring on a deflected shot before Tomas Hertl added a power-play goal. The Golden Knights continued to dominate in the second, as Mark Stone scored shorthanded off a Jack Eichel assist, Olofsson added his second of the night, and Eichel found the net to make it 5-0 after two periods.Seattle got on the board early in the third on a Shane Wright wrist shot, but Hertl answered with his second power-play goal of the night. Jared McCann added a late power-play goal for Seattle, but Vegas held on for the 6-2 victory.Hertl and Eichel each finished with four points. Hertl recorded two goals and two assists, while Eichel had one goal and three assists. Olofsson scored twice, giving him four goals on the season and extending his point streak to four games. Carter Hart stopped 25 of 27 shots (.926 save percentage) in the win.The victory also featured a pair of milestones. Mark Stone reached 400 points as a Golden Knight, becoming the third player in franchise history to reach the mark and the fastest to do so. Eichel extended his point streak to four games and now leads the NHL with 10 points, becoming the first player to reach double-digit points in each of the last two seasons.
