Species Spotlight: Corydoras Featuring Fishkeep and Chill

In this massive episode, "Species Spotlight: Corydoras", the GFWI crew invite our friends from Fishkeep & Chill, Nora Hickey and Jen Reynolds to talk about cory catfish! Cory cats are such awesome hobby fish and have great personalities. We go real deep into the classification, their care and best approaches to keeping them in the hobby. These little herbivores live amongst the coral, scraping up and consuming algae, as well as sifting through the sand. In fact they aren't quite herbivores as they’ve been known to eat tiny invertebrates and detritus from the substrate. They are also incredibly aggressive toward other blennies so care must be taken when selecting them in the hobby. It would take about 1 million lawnmower blennies to cut the grass of a football pitch. And that is a statistic I just made up.
