Summary: Kimmie Simon is the Director of ORU Worship Center. Her journey to ORU started at 2 years old with her putting her into music lessons. Kimmie Simon has been a part of the ORU Worship Center since 2014. Her go 5 core values of Oral Roberts University into every student and by extension into every worship team on camp are to be pure-hearted, Spirit-filled, physically sound, leadership ready, and creatively skilled. Worship have to grow and develop before the student can lead. The first step in developing worship leaders is led prayer sets. The goal is to teach students to become Spirit-empowered Worship leaders. Prepara in the Spirit. Kimmie begins her preparation on a yearly and semester basis. Prayer and times of refres to prepare individually and as a team. Practice is critical as well. ORU Worship has a song bank each s rehearsed and ready to go any time in any service.
