Who Are You Going To Call? - Intro Song by: Atomic Weight of Cobalt Movie: Ghostbusters II (1989 - Rated PG-13 - 108min - Columbia Pictures) Comic: The Real Ghostbusters: Starring in Ghostbusters II (1989 - Three Issues - $1.95 - NOW! Comics) In 1989, at the same time they were publishing their ongoing Real Ghostbusters comic series, NOW Comics also adapted Ghostbusters 2--but with a twist. Now's three issue mini-series adapted the film, but with the likenesses of the Real Ghostbusters characters, including the creation of an RGB-style Dana Barrett (who never appeared in the animation). It was done this way presumably to avoid the Bill Murray likeness issue, and to capitalize on the very popular cartoon which Now already had the license for. The series was adapted by the same team that was working on the ongoing RGB series at the time, James Van Hise and John Tobias. The mini-series was later collected into a trade paperback.
