In Everything, Give Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to give thanks in everything, because this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. That does not mean we have to be thankful for every difficult circumstance we face. Instead, even when things are not good, we can intentionally choose to thank God in the middle of them. Gratitude keeps our attention on God and reminds us of His goodness regardless of what is happening around us. You are highly favoured and deeply loved.
