On this episode of Flames Now, Pat is reacting to the big news of the day. After an 0-3 start, the Flames have placed former first-round pick Connor Zary on waivers along with defenceman Brayden Pachal. Pat shares intel on why the Flames have opted to go down this road and offers some thoughts on what players might be recalled from the AHL Wranglers. Plus, we take your texts on the topic on the Telus Text Line. Then we chat with Danny Austin of Postmedia (15:38) to get his thoughts on Zary's future. Danny also gives his observations on Calgary's nightmare start and Dustin Wolf's first two games of the season.
