Then, 6 years later, just days before her Grade 8 graduation, she relapsed. Kafia’s strength is unparalleled. Inspired by her journey with cancer, Kafia has gone on to pursue a career as a Pediatric Oncology nurse, working in SickKids' hematology/oncology department.
