The unwanted losing streak of seven in-a-row is over and ended in sensational style with the Melbourne Storm jumping out of the blocks posting a 20-nil lead over Wests in the first half, with Storm scoring over a point a minute at one stage. It was the Melbourne of old, full of energry and enthusiam, helped by winning the ruck which gave their creative spine players to do what they do best when the Storm have momentum, run.
