Thursday Night Sermon: Friendship, Communication & Living in the Present Moment | Eye Opener Society What happens when we stop truly communicating with one another? In this Thursday Night Sermon from Eye Opener Society, Gary Dean explores the importance of genuine friendship, human connection, and meaningful communication in a world where so much of our interaction has moved behind screens. We talk, message, comment, and connect online—but are we actually communicating with the people around us? Gary Dean takes a deeper look at why real friendships matter, why human beings need genuine connection, and what we may be losing when digital communication begins replacing face-to-face relationships and authentic conversations. #EyeOpenerSociety #ThursdayNightSermon #Friendship #Communication #HumanConnection #Relationships #RealFriendship #LivingInTheMoment #BePresent #Mindfulness #Spirituality #PersonalGrowth #SelfAwareness #ConsciousLiving #MeaningfulConnections #MentalWellness #InnerAwareness #LifeLessons #SpiritualJourney #AuthenticConnection #GlobalCommunity #Humanity Lizzie brings another important perspective to the conversation: the present moment. How often do we spend our lives thinking about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow while completely missing the only moment we actually have—the one happening right now? Together, these two messages come together around a powerful theme: connection. Connection with other people, connection with ourselves, and connection with the present moment. This Thursday Night Sermon explores friendship, communication, human connection, mindfulness, living in the now, personal awareness, spirituality, and the importance of experiencing life as it is happening. If you've been feeling disconnected, isolated, distracted, or caught up in the constant noise of modern life, this conversation offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and look at life from a different perspective. Topics include: friendship, communication, human connection, real relationships, social connection, living in the present moment, mindfulness, being present, personal awareness, spirituality, modern life, meaningful conversations, and reconnecting with ourselves and others. Join Eye Opener Society for a Thursday Night Sermon that encourages you to step away from the noise, reconnect with other human beings, and remember that life is happening right now.
Meditation for the Mind — Episode 2: The Practice of Simply Being | A Zen-Inspired Meditation What happens when we stop trying to change the moment and simply allow ourselves to experience it? In Episode 2 of Meditation for the Mind, Eye Opener Society explores the peaceful philosophy of Zen and the practice of simply being present. This is a guided meditation experience inspired by Zen principles, mindfulness, awareness, non-attachment, and the idea of experiencing life as it is rather than constantly trying to make it something different. During this approximately 15-minute meditation, you'll be invited to become aware of your surroundings, your body, your thoughts, and the present moment without needing to control or change any of them. Rather than trying to empty your mind or create a particular visualization, this meditation encourages you to observe what is already happening within and around you. We explore the Zen-inspired ideas of zazen, beginner's mind, non-attachment, presence, awareness, impermanence, and simply being. These aren't ideas that require you to accept a particular belief. Instead, they're invitations to experience the present moment for yourself. What if you didn't need every moment to become something else? What if you could simply be where you are, experience what is happening, and allow the moment to exist without immediately judging it? This meditation is for anyone interested in Zen meditation, mindfulness meditation, spiritual practice, self-awareness, inner peace, consciousness, meditation for beginners, or deepening an existing meditation practice. Whether you're listening from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else in the world, find a quiet place, settle in, and give yourself approximately 15 minutes to simply be. You don't always need to change the moment. Sometimes you need to become present enough to experience it. #Meditation #GuidedMeditation #ZenMeditation #Zen #Mindfulness #MindfulnessMeditation #MeditationForTheMind #Zazen #Spirituality #SpiritualMeditation #InnerPeace #SelfAwareness #Consciousness #PresentMoment #NonAttachment #BeginnerMind #MindfulLiving #MeditationPractice #MeditationForBeginners #PersonalGrowth #SpiritualGrowth #HigherAwareness #Awareness #SelfReflection #DeepMeditation #Relaxation #PeacefulMeditation #ZenPractice #EyeOpenerSociety
Eye Opener Society Is Evolving: Introducing Station Elsewhere Something new is beginning at Eye Opener Society. In this special announcement, Gary explains the next chapter for Eye Opener Society and the evolution of its podcast-style programming into a new series called Station Elsewhere. Station Elsewhere is designed to be different from what came before. Rather than following a rigid weekly schedule or relying on predetermined topic lists, Gary and Lizzie will create a more atmospheric, candid, emotional, and spontaneous conversation. The goal is to allow conversations to develop naturally, follow the energy of the moment, and explore deeper subjects without forcing them into a particular format. Because meaningful conversation doesn't always need to happen every week, Station Elsewhere will release approximately once or twice a month. This slower schedule allows the hosts to protect their personal time, keep the conversations fresh, and focus their energy where it matters most. At the same time, Thursday Night Sermons remain the core focus of the Eye Opener Society ministry, with live sermons continuing every Thursday at 7 PM Eastern on Facebook and recordings available afterward. The Eye Opener Society Guided Meditation Series will also continue on a weekly basis, offering listeners a peaceful space for meditation, mindfulness, spiritual reflection, philosophy, awareness, and personal exploration. This isn't the end of Eye Opener Society. It's a new chapter. Station Elsewhere will become a place for deeper conversations, honest experiences, spirituality, mystery, personal stories, emotional exploration, and the unexpected directions a real conversation can take. As the series develops, there may also be opportunities for guests and familiar voices from the wider Eye Opener Society community to join Gary and Lizzie. Whether you're listening from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, or anywhere else around the world, you're invited to come along for the next chapter. Eye Opener Society is evolving. Station Elsewhere is where the conversation goes next. #EyeOpenerSociety #StationElsewhere #Spirituality #SpiritualAwakening #Consciousness #HigherAwareness #DeepConversations #SpiritualConversations #Mindfulness #Meditation #Mystery #Paranormal #PersonalGrowth #SelfDiscovery #SpiritualJourney #AlternativeSpirituality #Metaphysical #Intuition #HumanExperience #AuthenticConversations #SpiritualCommunity #Podcast #NewPodcast #IndependentPodcast #InternationalPodcast #UnitedStates #UnitedKingdom #Canada #Australia #Europe
Humans Have Algorithms Too: How Our Patterns Shape the Way We Live, Think, and Connect What if the most important algorithm in your life isn't the one running Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or Google? What if it's the algorithm you've built inside yourself? In this Thursday Night Sermon from Eye Opener Society, we take a different look at algorithms—not simply as technology, social media systems, or computer code, but as patterns that influence what we see, what we believe, how we react, and how we relate to other people. Social media algorithms learn from our behavior. They notice what captures our attention, what makes us stop scrolling, what we engage with, and what keeps us coming back. But human beings operate through patterns too. Our experiences, beliefs, fears, expectations, relationships, habits, and past experiences can create our own internal "algorithms" that influence how we respond to the world around us. This sermon explores what happens when we begin treating people according to old patterns instead of seeing them as they actually are. We examine confirmation bias, judgment, assumptions, emotional reactions, relationship patterns, and the tendency to repeatedly respond to life from the same programming. Sometimes we complain about the algorithm while never questioning the algorithm running inside ourselves. Are you responding to the person in front of you, or to everything you've learned to expect from people like them? Are you really listening, or are you waiting for something that confirms what you already believe? Are your relationships being shaped by genuine connection, or by patterns you've carried with you for years? This is a conversation about human behavior, personal awareness, spirituality, relationships, consciousness, social media, digital influence, emotional patterns, and the power of becoming more aware of the way we think and respond. The technology may have algorithms. So do we. The question is: Who is writing yours? Join Gary Dean and Lizzie for this Thursday Night Sermon as we look beyond the technology and turn the examination inward. Eye Opener Society explores spirituality, consciousness, personal awareness, healing, human experience, and the questions that encourage us to look at life from a different perspective. #EyeOpenerSociety #ThursdayNightSermon #HumanBehavior #Algorithms #Consciousness #SpiritualAwareness #PersonalGrowth #SelfAwareness #Spirituality #Mindset #HumanConnection #SocialMedia #DigitalCulture #Relationships #HigherAwareness #SpiritualJourney #Awareness #ConsciousLiving #MentalPatterns #PersonalDevelopment
Meditation for the Mind — Episode 1: The Mind Is Your Own What if meditation wasn't about escaping your thoughts, creating a perfect mental picture, or being told exactly what you should experience? What if meditation could simply be a time to become more aware of yourself, your thoughts, your surroundings, and the way you experience the world? Welcome to the first episode of Meditation for the Mind, a new guided meditation series from Eye Opener Society that takes a different approach to meditation and mindfulness. Rather than asking you to imagine a particular scene or follow a predetermined visualization, this series gives you space to become still while exploring meaningful spiritual principles, philosophical ideas, mindfulness practices, and questions about consciousness and personal awareness. In this first meditation, “The Mind Is Your Own,” we explore the relationship between your thoughts and your sense of self. Throughout our lives, we collect ideas and beliefs from our experiences, relationships, environment, and the people around us. Some of those ideas help us grow, while others may remain with us simply because we've carried them for so long. Meditation can give us an opportunity to step back and observe what is happening within our own minds. Rather than automatically believing every thought, we can learn to notice our thoughts, recognize our patterns, and become more aware of the difference between experiencing a thought and allowing that thought to define us. This meditation also introduces a deeper exploration of mindfulness, awareness, consciousness, perception, self-reflection, and personal growth. You aren't being asked to find a particular answer. You're simply being given the opportunity to sit quietly, listen, become aware, and explore your own inner experience. Whether you are new to meditation, an experienced practitioner, interested in mindfulness, exploring spirituality, or simply looking for a peaceful way to spend a few minutes with yourself, this meditation is an invitation to slow down and become present. Your mind is your own. What you discover within it is yours to explore. 🎧 Listen wherever you enjoy Eye Opener Society recordings. #Meditation #GuidedMeditation #Mindfulness #MeditationForTheMind #MindfulnessMeditation #Spirituality #SpiritualMeditation #Consciousness #Awareness #SelfAwareness #InnerPeace #PersonalGrowth #SpiritualGrowth #MeditationPractice #MeditationForBeginners #DeepMeditation #MindfulLiving #PresentMoment #MentalClarity #SelfReflection #HigherAwareness #ConsciousnessExploration #Philosophy #SpiritualAwakening #EyeOpenerSociety
Monday with the Ministers — The Historic Final Episode This episode marks a truly historic moment for Eye Opener Society as we bring Monday with the Ministers to a close. But this is not goodbye—it is the beginning of something entirely new. Tonight, we continued our fascinating journey into timeline shifts, forgotten experiences, and the strange ways our memories can change. We were joined once again by Sunset Child and Ann Lund from Haunted and Waiting, and this time Ann finally got to share her own timeline story—the story that had somehow been completely forgotten, erased from memory, and, strangely enough, even forgotten by Sunset Child. What followed was an incredible conversation filled with questions, memories, laughter, and those moments that make you stop and wonder just how much we truly understand about our own experiences and the timelines we move through. As this chapter closes, Eye Opener Society remains exactly what it has always been. What changes is what comes next. Gary Dean and Lizzie Berry are preparing to take you somewhere completely different with Station Elsewhere—a new, highly creative and deeply cosmic show that will appear once or twice a month. The familiar faces, the conversations, the spirit of Eye Opener Society, and the connection with our community all remain. But the format, the imagination, and the destination are about to become something unlike anything we've done before. Thank you for being part of Monday with the Ministers and for traveling this road with us. This is the historic final episode of one chapter. The next chapter is waiting. Welcome to Station Elsewhere.

EYE OPENER SOCIETY GUIDED MEDITATION: SLOWING THE MIND & TAKING BACK CONTROL What happens when your mind feels like an engine running at full throttle? In this Eye Opener Society guided meditation, Gary Dean invites you to look at your mind from a completely different perspective. Imagine your brain as a powerful engine—constantly processing thoughts, memories, emotions, information, and everything happening around you. Sometimes that engine seems to be running far faster than we need it to. But an engine doesn't have to be shut down to be brought under control. This guided meditation explores the idea of slowing the mental race, releasing the thoughts that no longer serve you, relaxing the nervous system, and allowing yourself to move from mental overdrive into a calmer and more balanced state. Through visualization, focused meditation, relaxation, and repeated affirmations, Gary guides you toward recognizing that you can influence the pace of your own mind. The goal isn't to stop thinking. The goal is to learn how to slow down. Whether you are completely new to meditation, someone who struggles with an overactive mind, or an experienced meditator looking for a new way to approach your practice, this session offers an opportunity to sit quietly, relax, and reconnect with yourself. Gary also encourages listeners to make meditation part of their daily routine—even if it's only for ten minutes—and to pay attention to what they experience along the way. Find a quiet place. Get comfortable. Let the mental engine slow down. And give yourself permission to simply be. Welcome to another guided meditation from Eye Opener Society. #EyeOpenerSociety #GuidedMeditation #Meditation #Mindfulness #Spirituality #InnerPeace #Relaxation #MentalClarity #MeditationPractice #SpiritualAwareness #CalmMind #SelfDiscovery
