And sometimes the job called for throwing on a fake beard yourself to make sure your son's fling with the hot shepherdess he met on his gap year wasn't turning into something serious. We'll be looking at all of these methods and more as we explore the timeless anxieties that grip parents and guardians when they send their precious charges into the world—and then track their every move.
