While grief can be intense, due to tragedy or personal loss, its definition is not limited to those situations. Sometimes the most irritating griefs are due to daily frustrations, like those Charlie Brown experienced in Peanuts: rejection from others, repeated failure, and yes, Lucy snagging the football as soon as you go to kick it.
