197. dad hats: Jorts Fest, Fatherhood, The State of DIY & New LP "wash. rinse. repeat." | Emo Kids Anonymous

Welcome to EKA197! Today we're joined by Joe & Craig from critically acclaimed nashville emo band dad hats! This band was recommended to me by our friend Scott's Records, and once I got my hands on their upcoming album wash. rinse. repeat., i knew we had to have them on. We talk about the bands journey, from their time together as 6th graders to today, all the way to today as they prep to release their third lp (shoutout mind over matter records!). Along with dad hats news, we also talk about Joe's work booking Jorts Fest as well as his advice for any prospective festival bookers. The first single from the new record drops next friday before the full length comes out on Oct 23 and believe me when I tell you that you're in for a treat with this one. A late game AOTY candidate. These fellas are a great time, highly highly recommend.-------------------------------------Thanks for watching, please subscribe to our show for more content! With multiple new episodes every week, Emo Kids Anonymous is your home for emo and everything else.
