A pilot friend of mine spent more time practicing touch and go landings than anyone I’ve ever met. His reasoning was, that take-offs and in-flight procedures are irrelevant, the only thing that means anything is the landing. I asked, what if your take-off was your landing, and he said zero stars, do not recommend. On today’s episode: you will learn what makes Florida such a sparkling tropical jewel for snow weary travellers; you will see what happens when a 200,000 lb plane lands on a 4,000 lb car; and you will hear about a disaster so incredible, a helicopter got put in a museum because of it.
