The drama unfolds as Stephanie begins suspecting Joy's paralysis could be a ruse, especially after seeking the opinion of her mother, Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Meanwhile, Joy's plot to stay close to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) by moving into his apartment raises more doubts. Despite Stephanie giving the green light for Joy's plan, she remains vigilant, suspecting Joy's true intentions are to win over Alex. DOOL spoilers indicate that Joy's act is on the brink of exposure as Stephanie, hearing the incessant crying of Joy's baby Kelsey from across the hall, comes knocking. The scene is set for a dramatic revelation as Joy, frustrated by the crying, stands up from her wheelchair just as Stephanie reaches for the door handle. If Stephanie lays eyes on Joy standing, it could spell the end of Joy's charade. However, Joy could still manipulate the situation, playing the desperate mother card to explain her standing. Spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate that Stephanie, needing concrete proof to expose Joy's lies, may resort to using a nanny cam to record any suspicious behavior. The plot thickens as Stephanie starts questioning why none of Joy's family, including her sister Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), have visited her during her medical crisis. This family mystery could lead to an awkward confrontation between Stephanie and Chloe, given their complicated history. DOOL spoilers deliver with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers anticipating if Stephanie can provide irrefutable proof of Joy's deception. Will Alex believe Stephanie, or will he side with the seemingly vulnerable Joy? This episode was hosted by Belynda Gates-Turner for the #1 Soap Opera Channel, Soap Dirt.
