The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Area Presidency put out a letter on the Idaho abortion issue - Proposition 1 It came out the day after President Oaks' compromise address at the National Cathedral It's the first time the Church has come out with a statement on an active abortion, political abortion issue. While the church has denounced abortion many times, including by Dallin H. Oaks and Russel M. Neslson, both from the pulpit at General Conference, it has never come out against a specific political decision outside of Roe v Wade. Those who advocate for Pro-Choice, are using the ridiculous "Agency" argument trying to cram in their worldview into church doctrine. Polls show 60% approval to pass Proposition 1 in Idaho.
