The case went cold for 14 years. This month, Arlington police arrested 42-year-old Mayra Velasquez, a real estate agent and one of Irasema's close friends. The break came from FBI genetic genealogy and a discarded plastic fork Velasquez left behind at lunch. She's been charged with capital murder and says she's completely innocent.
