Pregnant Mom of 7 Brutally Murdered in Mexico

Makala Pendley was a mom of seven who was pregnant with her eighth child. In February 2026, an Indiana Children's Services case worker reported Makala and her seven children missing. On June 8, Makala's body was found in a ditch in Mexico. The father of her children has been arrested for her murder.
