Around 1 a.m. on October 15, 2018, a 911 call came from a house on a rural stretch outside Barron, Wisconsin. Deputies arrived four minutes later to a kicked-in front door and found James and Denise Closs shot dead inside. But their 13-year-old daughter Jayme was gone. Thousands of tips and volunteer searchers turned up nothing. Until, 88 days later and 70 miles north, a woman walking her dog found a girl who told her to call the police.
