Helping him celebrate are guests: Jack Benny, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Groucho Marx. Followed by Amos ‘n’ Andy, originally broadcast June 9, 1944, 82 years ago, Shirt Trail. The start of the program is delayed for D-Day bulletins (Communique #8) and invasion news (four and a half minutes). The case of Andy and the Comfy Collar Shirt Company.Then, The Great Gildersleeve starring Harold Peary,  originally broadcast  June 9, 1946, 80 years ago, 4th of July Picnic. Gildersleeve recalls a Fourth of July picnic held by The Jolly Boys, at which they sang, "In The Good Old Summertime."Followed by The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, originally broadcast June 9, 1950, 76 years ago, The Party.
