Psilocybin: Sacrament & Sacred Medicine - My interview with Rev. Pam Conboy
In this interview episode, I'm sitting down with Reverend Pam Conboy from Setas Seminary out of Reno, Nevada. With a background in biology, Pam was trained as a clinical laboratorian and is currently a doctoral student in naturopathic medicine. She is an IIN-certified health coach, trained psychedelic facilitator, medical marketing/business development entrepreneur, and ordained minister. She is the co-founder and CEO of Setas Seminary, which catalyzes the conscious integration of physical and psychological wellness by facilitating unification with the universal spiritual intelligence, aided by natural healing sacraments. They believe in using psilocybin, the psychoactive element found in Psilocybe Cubensis "magic" mushrooms, as a sort of holy sacrament for whole health wellness, and drawing closer to the divine consciousness. **SEE UPDATE BELOW**Topics discussed in this interview include: her background, Setas' methodology and what they offer, the pathways through which psilocybin interacts with the mind and body and the outcomes it can produce when used with intention, what a ceremony looks like at Setas, psilocybin's potential as a breakthrough therapy for generalized and treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, and more. BTR S4 File002- Epstein: The Reckoning
In tonight's episode of Behind the Radio, we will be getting into some details that weren't included in the Epstein series; call it an addendum of sorts. There are a few important details that I think may change some elements of the story, but they were best saved for this standalone format.
